We’ve seen all sorts of campervans surface over the years, but none of them are probably as quirky as this one: a modded-out Suzuki Super Carry.
This tiny campervan is owned by YouTuber Calum. Bamse—as its owner fondly calls it—is a 1989 model, and she’s particularly special in Scotland as the Super Carry nameplate was apparently rebadged as a Bedford Pascal by General Motors and sold as such in those parts. As the image above suggests, a number of customizations and upgrades have been made here to turn this little vehicle into a legit camper.

Quick guide: What types of top boxes should be registered with the LTO?
For starters, there’s the pop-up roof that can be extended upwards to unlock more vertical space inside the cabin. A full-sized adult can basically stand up when inside the Super Carry, which is pretty impressive considering just how little real estate the van’s interior offers.
The entire rear of the cabin has also been taken out and fitted with cupboards and cabinets as well as a small kitchen. There’s a butane stove stowed underneath some of the cabinets and right beside it is a functional kitchen sink—hard to imagine they were able to stuff so much inside this van, no?
Sleeping conditions are decent here, too. The second-row seats can be reconfigured and used in conjunction with the front-row seats to create a bed for the passenger. As the owner says it, it’s not exactly the most comfortable setup, but it’s surprisingly not uncomfortable, too. It’s better than sleeping on the ground with just a sheet under you, that’s for sure.
Believe it or not, there’s a lot to take in here, so we’ll just leave you to it to watch the entire video yourself. Click play on the embedded clip below, and enjoy.
