Despite its age, the Toyota Fortuner remains an aspirational car for many Pinoys. It’s not perfect, but it’s the kind of SUV that ticks the right boxes for those shopping for one.
What’s more astonishing is the fact that the Fortuner isn’t the most affordable SUV around. But for those who want one but can’t quite buy a brand new one just yet, you now have an option.

They can get themselves this Toyota Fortuner die-cast that comes courtesy of Para64 in cooperation with local company Blue and Yellow Diecast Toys. We’re not gonna lie, even we would like one, too.
The backstory behind it is quite interesting, too. Rhuel Ryan Valiente, the owner and founder of Blue and Yellow Diecast Toys, embarked on an ambitious project that would later result in this product. But it all paid off when Para64 went all in with work beginning on it in late 2023. First prototypes shown in January 2024 were released in the middle of the year.

It’s now available in Blue and Yellow’s Shoppee, Lazada, and the TikTok shops, in case you’re curious, and it can be yours for P1,080. The variant for this model is the second to the top-spec model, the LTD. We have to say it’s an accurate rendition of the popular SUV.
The gloss black finishes and two-tone paint adds a touch of realism, along with the wheel design and stepboards. The only things missing are the conduction plate and sticker, if you ask us.

So for those dreaming of a Fortuner, this highly detailed piece can serve as an inspiration to work that little bit harder. And for those who already own one, it would be a great companion to the 1:1 version sitting in the driveway.
