A month after Castrol released a video of Ken Block playing football with Brazilian football star Neymar Junior, the petroleum company has now come out with a video of Block being joined by fellow race drivers Mike Rockenfeller, Augusto Farfus and Adrian Zaugg in a different kind of challenge.
This time around, Block and company take on what Castrol calls the Titanium Strong Blackout Course, "the world’s first state-of-the-art racetrack drenched in darkness."
More like an obstacle course, each section of the Titanium Strong Blackout Course is navigated by a specific driver. Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo driver Zaugg is first in a Lamborghini Aventador through the laser tunnel, followed by DTM driver Farfus in a BMW M4 through the slalom and powder wall. DTM driver Rockenfeller in an Audi R8 V10 then takes over, driving through another laser tunnel before going sideways on the laser drift corner as Block jumps over him in his Ford Fiesta. Block then finishes the course by doing donuts in a laser box.
