This, ladies and gentlemen, is the world’s longest Hot Wheels track. If you’re familiar with how absurd some Guinness World Records can get, you shouldn’t be surprised that this here is a thing. Not that this particular record is outrageous by any means—if anything, we find it awesome.

Besides, watching the tiny die-cast car cruise its way down the track with some catchy music playing in the background put smiles on our faces. It’s easily one of the most feel-good videos we’ve watched all day.

The record-breaking attempt was done to offer a STEM learning opportunity for children of the employees of Alfred Benesch & Company in Foster Township, Pennsylvania. The track measures 663.298 meters long, beating out the previous records of 560m and 590m by a significant margin.

Now, a little over half a kilometer might not seem like a great distance to you, but that’s not the case for a toy car as small as the one featured in the video—it took about three minutes to complete the run. Anyway, if you haven’t watched it yet, just click play on the embedded video below and you’ll get what we’re talking about.

So, what do you think? Would you want to build a track as big as this one yourself?
