The DJI Osmo Pocket has been one of our go-to devices for content creation here at Top Gear Philippines. Over the years, we’ve relied heavily on it—specifically the Pocket 3—for shooting videos of any form.
Now, DJI Philippines has launched the pocket gimbal camera’s latest iteration, and it has a lot of people like us buzzing: the all-new DJI Osmo Pocket 4P. In a nutshell, it’s the most powerful version of the Pocket to date.
For starters, it now has dual cameras—one for wide-angle shots, one with up to 12x zoom. It also now has a larger one-inch sensor with 17 stops of dynamic range, so the footage it captures is better than ever.

But one of the things DJI is boasting about the new Osmo Pocket 4 isn’t just its video capabilities—it’s also how it now functions as a proper camera for taking photos. It can take up to 37-megapixel images, and it can shoot in 1:1 or 16:9 aspect ratios.
As with before, of course, the Pocket 4P’s screen still rotates when you wish to shoot landscape. Now, though, the Pocket 4P can shoot 240fps at 4k resolution, which is again a significant jump from the standard Pocket.
Other big highlights of the new Osmo Pocket 4P includes its built-in 103GB storage, something that was only reserved for the likes of the Osmo Action in the past. It also now has a new magnetic mounting point on the back of the camera itself wherein you can attach various accessories such as lights.
We’ll dive deeper into the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P once we get our hands on it. For now, we’ll leave you with the prices. Four variants will become available locally, with the first two being the Standard Combo priced at P37,990 and the Vlog Combo stickering for P42,290. The former includes only the unit itself, while the latter includes accessories like the tripod, fill light, DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter, Osmo FrameTap, Osmo Mini Tripod, and carrying bag.
