Mercedes-AMG is launching its 2021 Formula 1 car this week, but for local fans of the racing outfit, here’s something you might want to check out: The Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team Edition (whew) is now available on the market.
The racing-themed electric kick scooter features the black, green, and silver colors of F1’s defending constructors’ champion. The high-brightness headlight has a range of 10 meters, while four reflectors throughout the body help ensure the user’s visibility to others on the road. A built-in display on the handlebars shows information like running speed and battery charge level.
Folded, the unit measures 1,130mm long by 490mm tall, with overall height expanding to 1,180mm with the stem and handlebars up. Total weight is 14.2kg, while maximum load is 100kg.
The Electric Scooter Pro 2 rides on 8.5-inch pneumatic tires, and gets stopping power from an eABS-equipped disc brake. Its brushless DC motor has a rated power of 300W and maximum power of 600W for a top speed of 25kph. It can also manage inclines of up to 20%. The 446Wh lithium-ion battery, meanwhile, provides a claimed range of 45km, and takes eight to nine hours to recharge.
