The Porsche 911 is the most iconic sports car of all time. It has been constantly developed through the years, but the basic concept has remained since its introduction in 1963.

The latest 911, Type 991, has an all-new chassis, just the third in the sports car\'s lifetime--first in 1969, second in 1998. The 991 is the first 911 to be produced mainly out of aluminum. It is also equipped with the first-ever seven-speed manual transmission.

In the world of toy cars, the Porsche 911 is highly collectible. This year, Tomica has released the newest 911 Carrera in yellow and white, perfect timing as the 911 celebrates its 50th anniversary. Both cars will look good on your desk or on your bookshelf. These will be great additions to your collection, especially for collectors who particularly like Porsche.

These miniatures are available at Toys \'R\' Us and Toy Kingdom for P169.75 apiece.
