After the long wait, it’s finally here. A week since it opened reservations for the all-new Yamaha NMax Tech Max, Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) has officially launched this much-awaited next-generation model.

YMPH held a turnover ceremony for the first 155 customers of the NMax Tech Max, and it was there that we got our first proper look at it.

The all-new Yamaha NMax Tech Max boasts more agressive styling, with a redesigned front clip featuring the new-look headlights. It now has a more modern and flaunty design, with the upward crest in the middle. The overall shape has been retained even with the reworked face, so it still looks unmistakably an NMax. Out back, the NMax Tech Max dumps the butterfly-like taillights and the boxy rear end of its predecessors in place of a new-look rear that matches the front quite nicely.

Yamaha NMax Tech Max 2025 specs and features

Powering the NMax Tech Max is a 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Blue Core engine mated to the brand’s new Yamaha Electric CVT (Y-ECVT). This new transmission enables the different ride modes available in the new NMax, which is Touring and Sport. The former is made for the daily commute, while the latter is for more spirited rides.

The Y-ECVT also enables the three-level shift control which basically lets riders adjust the throttle response as well as acceleration and deceleration for a more customized riding experience.

Also new in the NMax Tech Max is the instruent cluster, which houses two small digital displays. On the upper half is the speedometer, odometer,  and fuel gauge, while the lower half is a dynamic display that can show the rev meter, trip information, or the Garmin-powered navigation system. It also supports smartphone pairing via the Y-Connect app.

As with before, the NMax Tech Max also still gets a smart key system with a keyless ignition, multiple pockets on the front end, and a 25-liter underseat storage. It also still has a traction control system and dual-channel ABS as standard.

We’ll tell you more about the all-new Yamaha NMax Tech Max once we’re finally able to ride it, but in the meantime, we’ll leave you with more photos. As far as pricing goes, this one is available for P175,900.
