The BMW GS series, long seen as the gold standard of adventure bikes, celebrated its 40th anniversary last year. Of course, you can't have such an occasion without a special release, and so BMW Motorrad unveiled anniversary editions of all of its GS line bikes. From the single-cylinder G310 GS to the 1,254cc boxer-powered R1250 GS Adventure, all members of the family received special 40th anniversary livery.

Now, Filipino riders will be able to get their hands on limited-edition models. BMW Motorrad Philippines has just announced the local pricing and availability via an online launch.
The black and yellow 40th anniversary liveries are inspired by the legendary R100 GS 'Bumblebee.' All GS models get this livery, so whether you're looking for your first adventure bike in the G310 GS, a retro-modern naked in the RnineT Urban GS, or aiming for the upper echelon of adventure riding with the R1250 GS Adventure, you'll be able to spec your bike out in the dashing colorway for a little bit extra.

How much extra? Check out the prices below:
| Variant | Price |
| 2021 BMW G310 GS | P320,000 |
| 2021 BMW F750 GS | P855,000 |
| 2021 BMW F850 GS | P975,000 |

| 2021 BMW R1250 GS | P1,645,000 |
| 2021 BMW R1250 GS Adventure | P1,795,000 |
Interesting to note is the relatively small price difference between the R1250 GS Adventure's base price of P1,675,000 and the 40th anniversary model's P1,795,000 SRP.

Special colors aside, the 2021 model year also brings some new changes for the R1250 GS and GS Adventure. Now standard is BMW's new Integral ABS Pro, which promises more safety and confidence in braking, even on inclined surfaces. New optional equipment include adaptive headlights, Hill Start Control Pro, heated seats, and handlebar risers.
