Thought Willie Nelson x Snoop Dogg was the most unusual collab of the 21st century? Well, this Ducati x Bentley tie up might just be ready to challenge for that title.

You see, this is the Ducati Diavel for Bentley—a limited-edition motorbike that’s based on Ducati’s Diavel V4, but is inspired by Bentley’s Batur. Interesting.

Of course, both brands are part of the Volkswagen Group’s ‘Progressive Brand Group,’ which also includes Audi and Lamborghini, but it’s still not a tie-up we were expecting to see. The bike itself will be limited to just 500 examples, with each one getting carbon-fiber bodywork and diamond-cut forged wheels, both of which apparently ape their counterparts on the W12-engined Batur.

We’re told that (somehow) the triangular rear extractors “refer to the corresponding elements of the car,” too, and Bentley even says that the front mudguard, the fairing, and the upper view of the tank all link to the Batur’s hood. Anyone else struggling to see it? Anyway, pretty much all those new bits of bodywork are made from carbon fiber, while the seat is clad in alcantara and the paint is a Bentley Mulliner color called Scarab Green.

All 500 examples of the Diavel for Bentley will be painted in that color, but for those looking for a bit more personalization, there will be 50 further bikes known as the Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner. Buy one of those and you’ll have the option to configure your Diavel with special colors and trim. The only issue? You will also have to buy a Bentley at the same time, as the special Mulliner bikes are only available to Bentley customers.

Interestingly, neither Bentley nor Ducati has let slip how much either of the 168hp bikes will cost, but don’t expect them to be cheap. Heck, the standard Diavel V4 already costs over £23,000 (around P1.6 million). Still, cheaper than a £1.6 million (roudhly P111.5 million, before taxes) Batur...
