Honda is turning heads at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show. Not just with its cars, but with its two-wheelers—specifically, the Honda Monkey FTR125.
The Japanese brand has just launched a new Limited Edition of one of its oldest and most popular nameplates, and it looks darn good. Frankly, it has us wanting this bike more. *sigh*

This Honda Monkey FTR125 Limited Edition is inspired by flat-track race bikes, hence, the ‘FTR’ in the name. It sports a custom cowl up front with race-inspired stickers all around. The bike comes in a striking tricolor finish, with a base white highlighted by streaks of blue and red, further accentuated by yellow Monkey badges. The seat also comes in a popping red finish with a stitched Monkey logo at the back.

There’s also an exhaust cover with matching decals. The most eye-catching piece here, however, is the classic yellow Honda Wing on the fuel tank. It adds more to the retro vibe, and just completes the overall design.
Mechanically, this bike sees no changes. This tiny motorcycle still packs a 124cc SOHC air-cooled engine that churns out 9.25hp at 6,750rpm and 11Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. It’s not much, we know, but we still want it. So, so bad.
What do you guys think of this new Monkey? Are you with us when we say these smaller Honda motorcycles should be sold in the Philippines, too?
