Swedish motorcycle brand Husqvarna has finally thrown its hat into the world of electric motorbikes with the launch of its E-Mobility program. We’ve already given you a preview of the E-Pilen—let’s now check out the two other concepts, namely, the Vektorr and the Bltz.
The Vectorr, which reaches a top speed of 45kph and has a range of up to 90km, is for urban commuters who want a compact, light, yet stylish mode of transport. Other than that, Husqvarna has provided limited details about the concept.
There was also no mention if the Vektorr uses the same switchable battery fitted to its sibling, the E-Pilen, which was launched 10 days before the Vektorr made its public debut.
With an electric motor that generates 10.7hp, the E-Pilen has a range of 100km. It draws inspiration from the Svartpilen and Vitpilen motorbikes, which are currently being manufactured in the Philippines and will soon be exported to other Asian countries.
The concept bike can use either a modular (fixed) or swappable battery developed by Pierer Mobility, which is also involved in the development of exchangeable power packs for Honda, Yamaha, and Piaggio.
Husqvarna’s third e-mobility model is the Bltz, a stand-up electric kick scooter. This little urban ride has a power output of 0.7hp, a range of 40km, and a claimed top speed of 20kph. Its conception shows the rising popularity of stand-up electric kicks scooters for individuals opting for practical rides worldwide.
Once the three e-bikes hit the production line, Husqvarna will initially target the European markets, particularly Spain, Germany, Italy, and France.
