Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer is celebrating a huge milestone as it reaches its 60th anniversary. For its part, Kymco Philippines is marking the occasion with a special-edition version of the Dink R 150.

If you’re familiar with this new scoot from Kymco, then you’ll know that this is a revived nameplate that arrived in our market back in December. The Dink R 150 Special Edition is mechanically the same as the standard model, but this one is fitted with special 60th badges and comes with crash guards and other accessories as standard. It also has an elegant metallic green finish.

As mentioned, no changes mechanically, so this scoot’s still powered by a 150cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 15hp at 8,500rpm and 13.2Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.

In total, Kymco says the accessories would normally cost P15,000. However, the Dink R 150 Special Edition stickers for P160,000, or just P7,000 more than the standard Dink model. Only 600 of these will be sold locally, however, so you might already want to get your hands on one if you’re interested.
