Maxi scooters have grown in popularity in the Philippines over the past few years, and part of the credit for that goes to Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer Kymco. It has cornered that part of the market with a number of excellent offerings across various segments.
Now, it expands its reach further with the launch of a new small maxi-scooter: the Sky Town 150. This will now sit alongside the Dink R 150 but will come with a much smaller price tag.

The Sky Town 150 has that adventure-scooter design and looks like a proper competitor to the likes of the Honda ADV 160. It’ll also stack up against the PCX 160 and the Yamaha NMax 155.
Up top is a large windshield—something you’ll commonly find in Kymco’s bikes—and below it are the headlamps with a very distinct light signature. A lot of lines and edges adorn the fairings on the side, giving this scooter a very sharp look.
Powering the Sky Town 150 is a 150cc air-cooled, single-cylinder SOHC mill that puts out 11.2hp at 7,500rpm and 11.9Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Kymco claims this Green Power engine yields lower fuel consumption and lower greenhouse gas emissions
The Sky Town 150 also comes equipped with a number of niceties including USB-C and USB-A charging ports and a 28-liter underseat compartment. It also has an LCD instrument cluster and comes standard with dual-channel ABS and traction control. Seat height is listed at 770mm and curb weight at 126kg. It has a seven-liter fuel tank.
As for pricing, the all-new Kymco Sky Town 150 stickers for P118,500. It can be had in Pearly White, Pearly Black, or Golden Brown.
Kymco Like S 150 2025 prices and specs
Now, the Sky Town 150 isn’t the only new bike in town. Alongside its new scooter, Kymco has also launched the new Like 150 S. Basically, it’s the darker version of the motorcycle maker’s popular retro scooter. It features an overall dark finish with black fairings and blacked-out weels. This can also be spec’d in gray.
Mechanically, it sees no changes, so it still gets a 150cc air-cooled, single-cylinder SOHC engine similar to the Sky Town but producing more power at 13.3hp at 9,000rpm and 12.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.
The Like S 150 has a 770mm seat height and 120mm of ground clearance. It’s also equipped with dual-channel ABS and has a seven-liter tank. The price tag for this one is P134,000.
