Over the past few months, there’s been a lot of talk surrounding Royal Enfield in the Philippines—specifically about who will get the distributorship after Hardcore Brothers parted ways with the brand. Now, we finally have an answer. An official one this time.

Royal Enfield has now announced that Motociclista Scatola (MSI), or the company we know as Bikerbox, will now be the official distributor of its bikes in our market.

“Being the sixth largest two-wheeler market in the world, the Philippines is an important market for Royal Enfield and we believe that our motorcycles will be ideal for riding offering customers a differentiated motorcycling experience,” said Royal Enfield business head for Asia Pacific markets Anuj Dua. “We are pleased to partner with Motociclista Scatola Inc. for this strategic market. We are confident that their proven success and expertise in the two-wheeler market will synergize well with Royal Enfield’s brand and product experience.”

Bikerbox and Royal Enfield assure customers of seamless after-sales and service support throughout the transition.

So...what’s next for the brand, you might ask? They’ve yet to make any announcements, but seeing as the all-new Himalayan has been out for a while now, then we expect to see that two-wheeler arrive here sooner rather than later. Exciting stuff ahead, that’s for sure.
