It’s official, folks: VinFast’s electric motorcycles have been launched in the Philippines. In case you missed it, not too long ago, we were able to preview these at the Vietnamese brand’s headquarters in Haiphong, Vietnam.

VinFast E-Motorcycle Philippines’ initial lineup consists of three models: the ViperFeliz II, and Evo. Three different styles with similar capabilities and use cases. Prices for these have already been revealed prior to the launch, but it appears VinFast was able to slash even more from the initial prices. We’ve listed the updated prices below and have updated our previous article to avoid confusion.

The electric bikes can be purchased with or without a battery subscription. With the former, customers will have to pay a monthly fee of P439 per battery, and each swap at a battery-swapping station will cost P35. With the latter, the customer will pay for either one or two batteries, the prices of which will be included in the SRP. Non-subscribers will not have access to the battery-swapping stations.

The Viper is what VinFast says will compete with the 125cc motorcycles like the Honda Click. It does have that standard scooter design. Like the Feliz II, the VinFast Viper has a maximum range of 145km with two batteries and a top speed of 90kph. It’s also the most premium, coming standard with a smart keyless ignition. Check out the prices of the Viper here:

  • VinFast Viper with battery subscription – P73,900
  • VinFast Viper with one battery – P86,600
  • VinFast Viper with two batteries – P99,300

VinFast E-Motorcycle Philippines has yet to share details on when the battery-swapping stations will be up and running, but it has confirmed that 21 dealers across the country are now officially operational. These are all 3S shops, so the facilities offer sales, servicing, and spare-parts assistance.

We’re expecting more updates from the Vietnamese brand later on this year, especially since it has its sights set on building a massive network of battery stations across the country. Watch this space. Rest assured, we’ll come up with reviews as soon as we get our hands on demo units.
