This is it, ladies and gentlemen. Decades after the name Tamaraw sat dormant, the utility vehicle will soon be coming to showrooms following the rollout of the first batch of units.
The revived Toyota Tamaraw will be produced in Santa Rosa, Laguna. From there, it will be made alongside models such as the Vios and Innova.

With that, Toyota’s Santa Rosa facility underwent a P5.5-B overhaul to build the all-new Tamaraw. Per the company, it’s targeting 18,000 to 22,000 units per year with monthly production pegged at 1,500 to 1,800 units. During the Tamaraw’s ceremonial roll-off, it was also mentioned that prices for the utility vehicle will start below P800,000. Retail sales are also set to begin on January 2025.

That said, those who want to see it in the metal don’t have to wait that long. Toyota will be holding its public launch on December 6, 2024 at various locations in the country. The all-new Tamaraw will be displayed at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Trinoma in Quezon City, Ayala Malls Solenad in Santa Rosa, Laguna, SM City Pampanga in San Fernando, Pampanga, SM City Cebu, SM Lanang in Davao City, and Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City.

From what we know so far, the all-new Toyota Tamaraw will be offered in four body styles. These include long and standard wheelbases of the FX (utility van), dropside pickup, and aluminum van. Gas and diesel options will also be offered, as well as manual and automatic transmissions.
