The 2025 BYD Atto 3 has officially launched in the Philippine market, still with two variants but now with an upgraded interior. This isn’t the fully facelifted model that was previewed in China recently, mind you; that will probably be for a 2026 launch here.
On top of a new interior, the 2025 Atto 3 also gets a few new functionality updates that should help improve the overall ownership and driving experience.

At first glance, there isn’t a stark difference between this Atto 3 and the previous iteration. The overall impression remains the same; however, the rear end wears a simpler ‘BYD’ logo instead of ‘Build Your Dreams’ spelled out.

The wheel design is essentially the same, too, but for 2025, the rollers are 18-inch units shod with 235/50 R18 tires that should improve handling and control.

The Atto 3 now gets a powered tailgate, giving drivers and passengers easier trunk access. That feature is only available on the Premium variant, but the new glossy accents on the rear windows are standard across the range.
Inside, BYD has focused on making the driving experience much more relaxing. First off, both variants now get ambient lighting all across the cabin. And it looks like BYD is really focused on color, as the interior of the Atto 3 can be had in either blue and gray or blue and black finishes. The latter also features red stitching across the seats, to add a sporty, performance feel to an elegant interior.
BYD vehicles are heralded for those huge infotainment screens that tie the interior together, and for the new Atto 3, big just got bigger. On the Premium variant, the screen is now a 15.6-inch unit. That extra real estate should provide better visibility and convenience in terms of navigation and communication.

The new Atto 3 will also be rolled out with NFC cards that offer keyless entry and increased functionality with the EV’s other features.
There are no changes to the powertrain specs for 2025. The Dynamic and Premium variants still produce a capable 201hp and 310Nm of torque. The Premium variant, however, draws juice from a larger 60.5kWh battery that has a maximum driving range of 480km. On the other hand, the Dynamic variant keeps a 49.9kWh battery with a driving range of 410km.
BYD Cars Philippines retains the same pricing for the model range. Check out the prices of the Atto 3 below:
