Denza Philippines will be showcasing the rest of its roster at the upcoming 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). The main highlights include the Denza B5 and B8 SUVs, which are both equipped with the DMO powertrain.
The Philippines was first introduced to the DMO system through the BYD Shark 6 pickup, which shares the same off-road orientation as these Denza SUVs. Even more similar to the Shark 6, the B5 utilizes a 1.5-liter turbocharged generator to charge its onboard battery.

This then powers a dual-motor setup, rated at 686hp and 760Nm of torque. We’ll know more about its battery size at MIAS, but the B5’s fully electric driving range is listed at 100km. The combined range is estimated at 975km.

Things get even more interesting with the larger B8, which gets a more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged mill to support its battery and dual motors. Oddly, this powertrain churns out less power at 611hp, but matches the B5’s 760Nm. However, its driving range is notably longer at 1,040km, with 115km on just electric power.

The B8 also features a DiSus-P active suspension system, which we previously saw on the D9. It can be optioned with either a six- or seven-seater cabin, with a 17.3-inch center display and an 18-speaker Devialet sound system.
The smaller B5 comes as a five-seater, and with a slightly simpler 16-piece Devialet speaker system. The driver and front passenger seats get massaging functions, which further complement the built-in refrigerator in the center console.
We’ll be checking out these electrified SUVs at MIAS 2026, so let us know what else you’d like to know about them.
