The Hyundai Stargazer made quite the splash when it was introduced in 2022. Launched in the Philippines in November that same year, the subcompact MPV has been one of the South

Korean automaker’s best-selling models in the country.

It’s almost hard to believe that the Stargazer is nearly three years old already. And with that, Hyundai looks set to roll out the facelifted version.

Spotted in South Korea, the new Hyundai Stargazer is already out in the open, albeit still wearing camouflage. It’s interesting to note that this model isn’t sold in Korea as it’s primarily for Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets. All Stargazer models are assembled in Indonesia

Underneath the covers, it appears that the small MPV will have a totally redesigned front end. What caught our attention was the relocation of the headlights from the bumper to the upper half of the fascia. If that’s the case, it’s a massive change from the current model. It’s also possible that it will have a flatter hood given the different headlight placement.

It also appears that the rear end will get a major overhaul. We noticed that the tail lights are pushed further out the corners. Does this mean it will lose those distinct-looking lamps soon? We sure hope not but Hyundai could also come up with something even bolder.

There’s no telling if there are interior updates for now. At the same time, it is yet to be determined if there will be any new engine options or any other mechanical changes.

Given that prototypes are running around already, it’s only a matter of time before the covers are pulled off. The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show is just a few months away, and there’s a good chance that it will be the place for its world premiere.
