Good news: Ford is now offering 2024 Ranger Raptor and 2023 and 2024 Bronco Raptor owners the chance to unlock more power from their performance trucks. Bad news: This is only available to those in the US.

A new software calibration for the 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 means the Ranger Raptor and the Bronco Raptor now both make 449hp and 726Nm of torque. Previously, the Ranger was producing 399hp and 582Nm, while the Bronco got 412hp and 596Nm. Decent increases, then.

The software update can be ordered online and installed by local dealers. We’re told that it’ll improve throttle response and optimize shifts. It’ll also be covered by Ford’s parts warranty.

It will come at a cost, though. That cost actually being a reasonable-sounding $825 (around P46,395). Oh, and anyone who attends the Raptor Rally in Utah in September will get a 20% off coupon code to save a bit of cash on their extra power.
