In our previous story, you may have read that GAC Motor Philippines is gearing up to launch six new models in 2024—two of which have already been previewed. We’re already done with the Alphard-rivaling M8, so now we move on to the more budget-friendly offering: the M6 Pro.
Similar to the its bigger brother, the M6 Pro comes with a wide range of interior amenities. Captain seats can be found in the second row, and two-zone automatic climate control for the cabin is available. Simply put, it’s a more affordable lounge on wheels when you compare the two MPVs.

A 10.25-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connectivity is mounted front and center, and this is complemented by a seven-inch digital instrument cluster. Like the M8, the M6 Pro gets an eight-speaker setup.
The M6 Pro also gets some driver-assist tech like the rain-sensing wipers, surround-view camera with rear parking sensors, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. Under the hood, it’ll get a 1.5-liter turbopetrol that churns out 174hp and 270Nm of torque and is mated to a seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission.
Now, onto the indicative pricing. There will also be two variants available: the bae M6 Pro GS could retail for P1.2 million to P1.3 million, and the range-topping M6 Pro GL could go for P1.5 million to P1.6 million. GAC Motor Philippines will already begin accepting reservations, but the official launch will be in early 2024. What do you think of these two new models so far?
