Honda had a pretty busy time last year. It saw regional launches of the updated City and Brio, the Civic Type R, and the all-new CR-V. By the looks of things, 2024 might be a little bit calmer.
But just because it launched several significant models in 2024, it doesn’t mean Honda is going to go on a break in 2024. Over in Thailand, it has been reported that the facelifted version of the Honda City Hatchback is set to be launched this year.

The City Hatchback is the best-selling subcompact five-door over there. It might not be the Jazz, but market acceptance has been overwhelmingly positive in the Land of Smiles. Recently, the facelifted model was spotted in Thailand. Various reports have been saying that the updated version is set to make its regional premiere any time this year.
By the looks of things, the Honda City Hatchback will get more distinct styling cues over its sedan counterpart. The chopped tail aside, the Hatch gets a larger and wider grille opening compared to the four-door. Its front bumper appears to have a sharper apron, while the foglight housings are unique to the five-door. Wheel designs appear to be the same, but the rear bumpers get a bit of an update.
We can also expect a few changes inside, likely similar to the City sedan. There might be a few tweaks to the instrument cluster, along with trim changes here and there.

There are those saying it will be towards the end of 2024, while the rest say it’s within the first half of the year. Should Honda choose an earlier launch date, it might make its first appearance during this year’s Bangkok International Motor Show set for March 24, 2024.
