Another relic from the mid-2000s alternative scene has resurfaced. The colorful and cool Panic! At the Disco-themed Honda Civic FD was recently spotted by an X user in Tuscaloosa, Alabama—and suddenly we’re burning CDs and charging our iPods once again.
This customized FD was part of the 2008 Honda Civic Tour, which the band in question also headlined. In that same year, their album Pretty. Odd. was also released, and thus became the inspiration for the build.

Cut to about 18 years later, and the Panic! Civic is alive and kicking. The blue paint is expectedly faded, but the band’s logo is still prominently displayed. While the bumper has some wear, the designs remain properly bright.

And like the Civics before it, this one was signed by the band’s members, and we’re happy to see some of those autographs in good shape. Given that this particular FD was found in a parking lot, we’d also like to hope that it is in running order.

The Panic! Civic makes for the second special edition tour model we’ve seen this year. In January, the Paramore-styled Civic Si from 2010 was spotted at a service center in the United States, also looking in working condition.
While it is a shame that the tour is no longer running, it is great to see these Civics live on with their current owners. That not only speaks to the durability of the FD, but also to the strong nostalgia of emo kids around the States. Don’t forget, these special models were raffled off to fans.
Perhaps it really isn’t just a phase. Now, if only someone could find Fall Out Boy’s Civic...
