At least from what we observe, the all-new Honda CR-V has already found its fair share o new owners. In fact, the redesigned crossover has seen over 700 unit sales since its launch last September 2023.
The last time we did a sales update, it was the mid-spec VX AWD variant that took up the bulk of that number. However, the RS hybrid also raked in a decent share of the pie with a 65-35 sales split among gas and electrified models.

As mentioned, Honda sold over 700 units of the sixth-gen CR-V from September 2023 until the end of last year. At the same time Honda also said how many of that were the RS e:HEV. The exact number, you ask? It’s 262 units.
With that, the RS e:HEV takes around 35 to 38 percent share of CR-V variant sales. That's not bad considering deliveries of the hybrid started a little bit later than the base and mid-spec models. We reckon more sales down the line as more consumers are (finally) embracing hybrid as part of the norm in that segment.

Need a refresher on the CR-V hybrid’s powertrain? Dubbed e:HEV, the CR-V RS is motivated by a 2.0-liter Atkinson Cycle gas engine mated to two electric motors. The engine alone makes 146hp and 183Nm of torque, but the electric motors pack 181hp and 335Nm of torque. The result is a combined power output of 204hp.
As for price, the lone electrified CR-V can be yours for P2,590,000. But if there is one variant that we wish Honda would add down the line, it would be the all-wheel drive version. We'd be totally willing to pay for the extra traction.
