Honda Cars Philippines (HCPI) is off to a busy start this year. To open 2025, the carmaker has now previewed the facelifted HR-V. And yes, the preview includes the hybrid version.
The updated model was unveiled back in March last year and eventually landed in ASEAN in September. It has a slightly sleeker-looking front clip, with a less-protruding nose and fewer lines on the front fascia. It also gets new-look 18-inch, two-tone alloy wheels.

The HR-V e:HEV now also becomes the RS variant and sits atop the range above the V and the S. The hybrid trim gets a few new added amenities including the power liftgate, reverse-tilting side mirrors, and rain-sensing wipers. Wireless charging and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, meanwhile, are now also standard across the lineup.

The new HR-V hybrid comes packing a 1.5-liter gasoline engine mated to an electric motor. In total, it produces 129hp and 253Nm of torque. Fuel consumption is estimated around 23km/L. Hybrid variants, of course, come with bluish highlights on its Honda badges.
The only other engine option available for the new HR-V is the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine that puts out 119hp and 135Nm of torque and is mated to a continuously variable transmission.

Prices still aren’t available yet, though. HCPI will be announcing the final figures later on in March. But we’ve been told that the pricing could fall anywhere from P1.6 to P1.9 million. If current HR-V prices are anything to go by, then we can assume the final SRP might be on the higher end of that range.
Stay tuned in the coming months for more on the new HR-V e:HEV—we’ll bring you more as we have them. But for now, let us know in the comments what you think about it. You can also check out more photos below.
