Honda has a stacked booth at this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon, with a total of 19 vehicles on display. Taking center stage is the not-so-new Mugen Prelude and the incoming Civic e:HEV with the S+ Shift transmission.

However, six of the showcased cars are current-generation models that have been specially styled by Honda Racing (HRC). These include the FL5 Civic Type R, the Prelude, the CR-V, and the HR-V (or Vezel in Japan), along with the WR-V and the ZR-V crossovers.

To make things more interesting, HRC elected to customize the Trailsport variants of the CR-V and the other SUVs. For those who don’t know, Trailsport-trimmed models are offered with more rugged accessories and tuned suspension systems for terrain driving.

It’s a shame we don’t get any Trailsport Honda models in the Philippines, nor do we get a couple of the crossovers featured at TAS 2026. Well, at least for now, these pictures will have to do.

Doesn’t that HRC-blue look so clean? We hope Honda turns this into an official color option—along with those orange accents and black garnishes, too, please.

The ZR-V slides right in between the HR-V and CR-V in size, while offering a smoother look as compared to Honda’s current tall and sleek SUVs. Its European-looking design lends well to the Trailsport and HRC styling—like a rally-ready compact crossover.

Known as the HR-V in the Philippines, HRC has also added orange stitching to the seats and steering wheel of the Vezel. It’s a subtle and sweet touch to a clean overall look.

The subcompact WR-V looks adorably aggressive in HRC paint and Trailsport tires. Like the ZR-V, it is also not available in the Philippines—but with how popular subcompact crossovers are, who knows what could debut in 2026.

HRC is a performance division first and foremost, and what it dazzled with the FL5. Like something out of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The first few official Prelude builds from Honda have been impressively clean. The HRC Concept Prelude looks satisfyingly simple with a few design decals, blacked-out bumpers and garnishes, and a similarly-colored wing. The HRC-branded wheels as well, complement the build nicely.
