Kia Philippines is expanding its electrified lineup further this year. The Korean carmaker has now launched the all-new EV5 at the 2026 Manila International Show.
The EV5 joins the Kia stable as the brand’s most affordable electric vehicle. It comes in two variants, with the base stickering for P2.298 million. The top-of-the-line trim goes for P2.698 million, which is just around the price of the likes of the Toyota bZ4X.

Across the range, powertrain options are identical. You’re looking at a single electric motor mounted up front, producing 214hp and 310Nm of torque. The two variants differ in terms of their batteries—there’s a 64.2kWh and an 88.1kWh battery available. The smaller battery results in an estimated maximum range of 400km, while the bigger pack can yield up to 550km of EV driving.
The all-new Kia EV5 features a CCS2 charger and supports both DC and AC charging. It also has vehicle-to-load capabilities.

The cabin boasts a spacious cabin clad in a mixture of leather, fabric, hard plastics, and soft-touch materials. A pair of 12.3-inch digital displays are mounted on the dash, with the infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Other amenities include adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function, while features like blind-spot monitoring, 360-degree-view parking camera, lane-following assist, GLS-exclusive ADAS features.
