After releasing teasers of its upcoming Sports Series, McLaren Automotive has finally released the first official image of its entry-level sports car--or a section of it, to be exact.
What we're looking at here is obviously the door and the intake on the quarter panel. The concave design on the door that leads to the intake is also a modern interpretation of McLaren's original "Speedy Kiwi" logo, which predates the current chevron logo.
Also, judging by what seems to be the door's texture in the photo, it looks like the blacked-out accent from the front wheel to the intake is made of carbon fiber.
