The all-new Mitsubishi Pajero will finally be revealed on September 2, 2026, as the Japanese carmaker recently marked the date on its website. Mitsubishi has been dealing out teasers since the start of the year, but it looks like we’ll finally get to see the whole picture very soon.
Speaking of pictures, a closer look at the latest Pajero image reveals smaller details about the upcoming SUV. The thick headlights we previously saw are behind the P, while the new triple multi-meter is on the A. The J, E, and R then show off what looks to be leather upholstery with a two-tone finish of brown and black. Finally, the letter O gives us a glimpse of the new wheel design, which seems to have four spokes.
Somehow Mitsubishi has shared a lot, but almost nothing at all. While we do have pieces and renders for days, there is still no solid idea what the next-generation Pajero will shape up to be.

We should also keep in mind that this new SUV will kick off a new chapter for the brand. It will effectively mark the beginning of the Pajero series, which will see compact and mini kei-style bodies over the next few years.
That is part of a larger product offensive that will see as many as 13 new models, with varying powertrains between them. And with the Philippines marked as a priority country for the brand, we’re optimistic that we’ll see most of the new models, including the many Pajeros.
