We’ve featured several special editions of the Nissan Urvan here before. Dubbed the Caravan in its home market, it’s been turned into a camper, a mobile office, and even a sporty (looking) van.

But what we have here now is a mobile living room. A hotel on wheels of sorts. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the Nissan Caravan MyRoom.

Hold up, wasn’t the Caravan MyRoom featured before? Well, yes, but it was a limited edition model back in late 2023. Now, Nissan has made it a fully fledged variant in the lineup. Must’ve had a lot of people wanting it back when the first run finished.

So, it there anything new with it? Not really as it seems to be a continuation from the original production run. We’re not complaining, though, as we have to give props to Nissan for continuing what is essentially a low volume model.

We’ll make one thing clear: This isn’t a camper van. For starters, you don’t get a mini kitchen or a portable bathroom with it. That immediately rules it out any overlanding adventures with it, even if four-wheel drive is optional. You can add it later on, but that’s for the aftermarket to cover.

Instead, this van focuses on creating a zen-like environment. The interior is nothing like what you’d get in a Nissan Urvan. Instead, you get light wood walls, a wooden ceiling, and even a wood floor. It also comes equipped with a sliding modular table and the bed swings down from the side. For those wondering, it does lose a few seats, but you can still bring four more people on board.

The light colors make it bright and airy inside. If things do get a little too bright, there are window blinds to deflect some rays. There’s even a roll-down screen so one can project movies on it.

The best part is, it comes with its own power supply so you don’t need to be running the engine as you kick back, relax, and find some peace. Its auxiliaries are powered by (optional) Nissan Leaf batteries, so it’ll keep things on without the use of the engine.
