The fully electric Nissan Primera EV is now officially in the Philippines. It is currently offered in a single variant with an introductory price of P1.999 million. After the promotional period, the Primera EV’s regular price of P2.099 million will take effect.
Nissan’s newest battery electric vehicle is equipped with a front-mounted single-motor setup and a 58kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery. That should be good for 500km of range, along with 215hp and 305Nm of torque on tap.

The Primera EV enters the sparse midsize-sedan segment. Measuring 4,930mm long, 1,895mm wide, and 1,487mm tall, it’s slightly longer than the Toyota Camry and surpasses the Tesla Model 3’s length by almost 200mm.

All that real estate houses a minimalist cabin, with leather upholstery dressing zero-gravity seats. The first-row seats also feature massaging, heating, and cooling functions, along with extensive power-adjustment settings. An expansive glass roof then seals what Nissan calls an “ultra-quiet cabin.”

Like other cars sourced from China, a big 15.6-inch multimedia screen is the focal point of the cockpit. It offers Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while audio is channeled through a 12-speaker system. The Primera is also equipped with the latest version of Nissan ProPilot. The brand’s in-house advanced-driver assist system comes with adaptive cruise control, lane intervention features, and an around-view monitoring setup.
