Ain’t she a beaut? Nissan offices over in Nashville, Tennessee, have unveiled a special-edition Z that has been outfitted in ’90s nostalgia and 300ZX heritage. Appropriately called the Nissan Z Heritage Edition, it’s a performance trim that’s offered with either a nine-speed automatic or a six-speed manual—to the joy of Z purists.
It draws inspiration from the Nissan 300ZX, which debuted in 1989 as the Z32. The Z’s standard 18-inch wheels have been swapped for bronze 19-inch aluminum alloys from Rays. More bronze accents can be seen throughout the body, most prominently displayed on the ‘Twin Turbo’ lettering on the doors. It’s then complemented by a carbon-fiber spoiler that also proudly displays a twin-turbo badge.
The exterior is finished in a classic Midnight Purple colorway, tugging on the heartstrings of GT-R enthusiasts. Inside, the kick plates show more ‘Heritage Edition’ branding, and there are also some custom floor mats.

Being a performance variant, this Z elevates the peppy 400hp and 475Nm of torque from the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with a mechanical limited-slip differential. Nissan Performance Brakes replace the standard system, but that’s not to be confused with Nismo.
In terms of pricing, the Heritage Edition Z starts at $55,910 (around P3.198 million), compared with the standard Performance-level Z at $52,970 (around P3.03 million). The Heritage Edition package itself adds $2,940 (around P168,183) to the base price. Being an American release, it’s not likely to make its way to the Philippines. We’d probably have a better chance with the manual Z Nismo making a local debut.
