It was just a few months ago when the Suzuki Jimny Rhino made its local premiere. That model made its debut during the 9th Philippine International Motor Show as a limited edition model.
At the time, the Rhino variant was only for the three-door model. So, to kick off 2025, the 5-door model gets it as well. Good news for those who wanted the special look for the longer and more practical Jimny body.

Like the three-door, there are no off-road goodies added to the package. It’s a good thing that the standard model is already a solid off-roader right out the box, then. The Rhino is a purely cosmetic package that banks on another aspect of the Jimny’s appeal: The retro looks.
Included in the Rhino package are a front bumper under garnish, side under garnish, black mud flaps for the front, black mud flaps with the Suzuki logo for the rear, a Soft Rhino spare tire cover, a Rhino emblem sticker on the rear door, and Rhino Edition body decals. Two colors are available for the 5-door Rhino, namely Chiffon Ivory Metallic on Bluish Black Pearl and Arctic White Pearl.

As it’s based on the top of the line GLX model, this model comes loaded with niceties. It includes LED headlamps with washers and an enhanced 9-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. AllGrip Pro 4WD is standard, while the familiar 1.5-liter engine is unchanged from before and still makes 100hp and 130Nm. The lone transmission choice is a four-speed automatic, just the the 3-door Jimny.
