Recent local reports have shared that the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport has received a subtle facelift in Thailand. Its interior also received a few updates, but no alterations were made to its hybrid powertrain. The familiar 1.8-liter 2ZR-FXE electrified mill is still on deck, making this update purely aesthetic.
The most noticeable change is the updated honeycomb grille, which now looks similar to the other Corolla Cross models on offer. If you recall, the crossover received a previous update in 2024, but the top-spec’d GR Sport variant was left unchanged. It took a couple of years, but now, the stable looks more seamless across variants.
To complement the new fascia, Toyota also blacked out the front bumper and added a gunmetal garnish. Twin trims around the fog lights complete the new look, and around back, the rear bumper and taillights received similar treatments.

Those with eagle eyes will also notice the new lettering on the Gazoo Racing and Corolla Cross lettering on the front and rear ends of the crossover.
Inside, the seats are now finished with new red stitching and black suede upholstery. The seatbelt also gets a GR-appropriate red color, while more red stitching is seen around the cabin. Drivers then get an updated dark gray-colored steering wheel with the Gazoo Racing logo on the push-to-start button.
