The Toyota GR Corolla is set to appear at the Clark International Speedway for GR Track Day, taking place on December 17, 2025. This will mark the GR Corolla’s first local appearance, and while there’s no official confirmation of its PH release, it’s all but guaranteed at this point. No prices, specs, or even transmission options have been shared—only a recognizable silhouette with the slightest shadow.

The much-awaited GR Corolla will join the GR 86, GR Yaris, and GR Supra in Toyota Motor Philippines’ (TMP) local enthusiast stable. Past rumors speculated that the GR Corolla would come in 2026, but it looks like Toyota has beaten everyone to the punch.
The presence of Toyota’s performance sub-brand has been increasing for years. TMP even rebranded its Vios Cup into the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup. A growing lineup reflects the Japanese carmaker’s commitment to the GR brand.

In previous Gazoo Racing events, Toyota offered shotgun laps in the GR Yaris, and so we’re hoping for the same treatment—or better—come December 17th with the GR Corolla.

While the GR Corolla shares the same G-Four AWD system as the GR Yaris, its 1.6-liter turbocharged powertrain does return stronger outputs of around 300hp and 400Nm of torque. It’s not too far off from the GR Yaris, but that extra oomph should be noticeable.
And who knows, Toyota could end up bringing its track-focused GR Corolla to Clark. We haven’t heard anything about it since its announcement in April. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long to put all this speculation and excitement to rest.
