If you’ve seen our story on the Modellista RAV4, you’ll be happy to know that Toyota didn’t stop there. The brand’s performance division, Gazoo Racing, also released its take on the famed crossover.
Outfitted with new wheels and accessories all around, this RAV4 looks a lot bulkier and tougher than its stock form. From the pictures, Gazoo Racing dressed up a plug-in hybrid RAV4, but these parts should fit on any sixth-generation model.

Based on Toyota Makati’s recent price reveal, that particular RAV4 will not be launching with the fully hybrid ADV and LTD variants. Hopefully, we’ll at least see the GR parts sooner rather than later.

At first glance, the new front spoiler adds a lot of heft to the RAV4’s overall stance. It’s complemented further by larger 20-inch wheels and similarly themed cladding across the sides. Around back, a bumper spoiler was also added to tie the whole look together.

A closer look reveals special door stabilizers and a GR-branded discharge sticker, both of which should help with handling. Under the metal, Gazoo Racing added performance dampers to the RAV4’s chassis to improve NVH and overall ride comfort.
With the new crossover set to debut next month, we should also see some official accessories soon. In the meantime, do you prefer the Modellista RAV4 or this new build from Gazoo Racing?
