TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Very first Ferrari 458 Speciale A goes for nearly $1 million

Ferrari may have just unveiled the 458 Speciale A at the Paris Motor Show, yet the very first example of the limited-to-499 car has been auctioned off for $900,000 (over P40 million) at a gala event in the Beverly Hills City Hall in California, USA, to celebrate the Italian carmaker's 60th anniversary in the country.

As we earlier reported, the 458 Speciale A is an open-top version of the 458 Speciale and utilizes the same naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 powerplant that produces 597hp and 540Nm.

The 458 Speciale A’s auction also coincided with the revelation of the limited-edition F60 America "to private guests of the black-tie event."

While the carmaker didn't disclose the selling price of the F60 America, various reports have its value ranging from $2.4 million to $3.6 million.
