If a car company wants to sell bucketloads of vehicles in Southeast Asia, a crossover, pickup, and an MPV is a must. Vietnamese automaker VinFast has crossovers covered, although it is yet to come up with a pickup or MPV. That is, until now.

The company is addressing one of those with its first-ever MPV. Dubbed the VinFast Limo Green, it has everything that one expects from this vehicle type, namely three rows of seats and room for seven.

In terms of size, it’s close to the Toyota Innova. It measures 4,730mm long, 1,870mm wide, 1,690mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,840mm. For styling, the Limo Green follows the brand’s design language with slim LED daytime running lights at the front with the headlights mounted on the bumper. As for the rear, it’s dominated by full-width tail lights with a wide and upright tailgate.

Like Minio Green featured earlier, there are no interior photos of the Limo Green yet. Power figures were not mentioned either, but there are a few technical details shared by Vinfast.

The VinFast Limo Green uses a single electric motor that sends power to the front wheels. Because of the layout, it’s possible that the motor is mounted at the front unlike the Minio Green. Battery size is unknown, but the company claims that this MPV can be charged from 10 to 70% in just 30 minutes.

Vietnam’s first homegrown MPV will soon be available to customers there sometime this year. As for exports, Vinfast has yet to confirm if it will happen.
