VinFast Philippines has expanded its lineup with the all-new VF MPV 7. As its name suggests, this fully electric offering is a multi-purpose vehicle, capable of seating seven passengers and accommodating up to 1,240 liters of cargo.
Underneath the cabin lies a single electric motor powered by a 60.13kWh battery. This powerplant is rated for 450km of driving, with 201hp and 280Nm of torque on tap. Mind, VinFast owners can still charge for free at V-Green-branded stations until March 2029.

At launch, the VF MPV 7 is available for P1.518 million, with a limited-time discount of P27,200. With a battery subscription, the MPV’s price drops to just P1.239 million, but that will incur an additional monthly fee of P2,700 or P4,150. The former is for motorists driving less than 2,000km a month, while the latter is for those who plan to travel more. However, VinFast is offering to cover a year’s worth of subscription fees for the first 1,000 buyers.

Either way, both price points put VinFast’s new MPV right in contention with the BYD eMax 7, which comes in at a competitive P1.498 million. While it is more affordable than the VF MPV 7’s regular price, the eMax 7 also comes with a shorter driving range and a smaller battery.

In terms of size, VinFast slightly edges out BYD as its MPV measures 4,740mm long and 1,872mm wide, with a wheelbase of 2,840mm. The eMax 7, on the other hand, is listed at 4,710mm long and 1,810mm wide, with a shorter 2,800mm wheelbase.
