You might have heard of VinFast due to the mountain of awards that the brand has won in its home country of Vietnam, or in part because of the noise the adorable VF3 has been making in the local car market.
It seems wherever VinFast goes, headlines tend to follow, and this time another EV takes the spotlight. The VinFast VF7 is the middle child in VinFast’s lineup, right above the VF5. Although, the VF7 takes more resemblance to the flagship VF9, rather than the fan-favorite VF3.
The all-electric SUV boasts performance numbers that put it up with segment leaders like the BYD Atto 3, but one number that sets it apart from the rest is the amount of Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) it comes with—it gets an astounding 22 features.

The top variant, the VF7 Plus, packs in all those 22 ADAS features, along with a 75.3kWh battery that powers a dual-motor drivetrain. On a full charge, the VF7 Plus can drive up to 490km with all those ADAS features at the ready. Those features include adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, and a 360-degree parking assist function. Where things get a little more interesting is in the automatic high beam protocol, the driver monitoring system, and its highway assist feature.
There are simply too many features to mention, but rest assured we’ll put the entire VF7 ADAS suite through its paces when we get the chance.
