Volvo is back with another new electrified model, furthering its EV push in the Philippine market. As we recently anticipated, the Swedish carmaker has now launched the all-new EX30.
This fully electric Volvo is the brand’s smallest-ever SUV. It might also be its most stylish, as the Volvo EX30 features a very sleek and clean exterior with minimal lines and a fresh-looking, futuristic front fascia.

Inside, the EX30 boasts a plethora of premium materials, with a combination of leather, fabric, and other soft-touch materials adorning the cabin. In typical Volvo fashion, the color-coordinated upholsteries are made from renewable and recycled materials.
Propelling the Volvo EX30 is an electric motor driving the rear wheels and producing 272hp and 343Nm of torque. It’s powered by a 69kWh battery that promises a maximum range of up to 475km. The home charger takes eight hours to get from zero to full, while 175kW DC fast charging enables 0-80% in just 28 minutes.
Extra features come aplenty, with the massive vertical infotainment system mounted front and center on the dash. This is paired with a small digital display for the driver and produces sound through a nine-speaker Harman/Kardon setup. Safety tech here include blind-spot monitoring, front and rear cross-traffic alert with autobrake, lane-keep assist and lane-departure warning, and rear-collision warning. Adaptive cruise control, Park Pilot Assist, and a 360-degree-view camera, among many others, are also available.
