Zeekr Philippines and the Autobub Group have officially introduced the Zeekr 009 to the local market. If you keep up with the Chinese automotive industry, you’ve probably heard the words ‘Toyota Alphard fighter’ and similar descriptions about the 009 since it debuted in 2022. Three years later, the luxury MPV is finally on local shores, in the metal.
The 009 is also expected to go up against even the Lexus LM. While its ride comfort may be comparable, performance won’t be on the same level as the 009 uses a fully-electric system while the Alphard and the LM have hybrid powertrains. Interestingly, Li Auto Philippines also introduced its electric MPV, the Mega, on the same day as the 009. In terms of specs, that could make for a fairer fight.
Let’s go back to that all-electric powerplant. The Zeekr 009 packs a 108kWh battery, propelling a dual-motor system that makes an astounding 777hp and 810Nm of torque. Zeekr claims this ‘first-class’ four-wheeler can make the 0-100kph sprint in just 3.9sec. In terms of driving range, the 009 is said to reach up to 702km on a full charge.

The platform has been outfitted with what Zeekr calls an ‘Electromagnetic Vibration Reduction System,’ along with adaptive air suspension to ensure buttery smooth and quiet rides over any terrain. This—and that sub-4sec acceleration—will definitely be put to the test.
Prospective buyers can choose between a six- or seven-seater layout for their Zeekr 009. However, both options will be outfitted with an immersive 30-speaker audio system from Yamaha, and two huge screens for the front and rear passengers. Those up front will have the main 15-inch infotainment display to play with, while those in the back can watch movies on the ceiling-mounted 17-inch screen.
And like other luxury MPVs, the seats are dressed in napa leather and other high-quality materials. Zeekr does call this a first-class cabin, after all.
Now, pricing is where the Zeekr 009 has the Toyota Alphard beat. The seven-seater 009 is currently priced at P4,199,000, while the six-seater stickers for P4,399,000. And until the end of June 2025, AutoHub Group is offering new owners an introductory price of P3,990,000 for the seven-seater 009. All those prices undercut the Alphard’s price tag of P4.691 million.
