Kia Soul winner Ma. Lourdes Imperial

We recently laid eyes on the seven-year-old boy who won a brand-new Volkswagen Beetle in a raffle. Here's another lucky car winner: Ma. Lourdes Imperial, a doctor who won the keys to a new Kia Soul in a marketing promo sponsored by Kia distributor Columbian Autocar Corporation.

The yearlong promo is called "Drive To 20," celebrating CAC's two decades in the business. The first quarter of the promo offered those who would test-drive Kia cars a chance to win one of 20 Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos smartphones. The grand prize for the first-quarter draw was a brand-new Soul, and to qualify for the raffle, one had to buy a Kia vehicle.

Imperial qualified for the draw by purchasing the latest-generation Carens, her family's second car by the Korean automaker after the Picanto.

"I was looking for a small car, and among all the small cars before, the Picanto was the best-looking option," Imperial said. "For the price, everything is beautiful--the interiors, the specs--and it is sporty-looking."

When the time came to get a new family car, Imperial went for another Kia. "I was happy with my Picanto, so I got the Carens," the practical homemaker said.

Fortunately for Imperial, her purchase of the Carens came with a raffle ticket, which subsequently yielded this Soul crossover vehicle, personally turned over to Imperial by CAC president Ginia Domingo.

For the second quarter of the promo, customers who test-drive a Kia can win one of 20 Samsung Galaxy Tabs, with the grand prize being a trip for two to Australia.

Maybe you'll be the next lucky one to appear on our website posing beside a brand-new car from a raffle. Who knows?
