BYD Cars Philippines and Sunrise Events have formally launched their partnership for the upcoming BYD Ironman 70.3 in Davao City. The triathlon is scheduled for March 22, 2026, and will host several active celebrities and accomplished athletes.
Together with ACMobility, BYD will be fielding Alden Richards, Nico Bolzico, and Wil Dasovich to form the BYD Celebrity Triathlon Team. Alden will be taking on the biking portion of the race, while Nico will be running, and Wil, er, will be swimming.

Alongside the trio will be the BYD Triathlon Team, led by Olympic swimmer Jasmine Alkhaldi. She will be joined by cyclist Jen Jacobsen and runner Jennifer Uy.

BYD will also be hosting a tech tour at the Ironman race, with the Shark 6 DMO front and center. The pickup will be dressed in Ironman-themed decals, which should look fitting given its rugged design. With the display, athletes and fans can get a closer look at what BYD has to offer, especially in cleaner mobility.
