The deals just keep getting crazier and crazier. First, it was Hyundai Quezon Avenue throwing in a free Accent or Reina with every brand-new Santa Fe. Hyundai Pasong Tamo followed this up by including a free Vespa S125 into the mix. Now? It’s a free Tucson courtesy of Hyundai Cebu.
Like we said, crazy. We called a sales agent up for more information and there’s one big detail that isn’t mentioned in the promo’s Facebook post: The Tucson included in the package is the pre-facelift model with a manual transmission—this is no longer listed on Hyundai’s official Philippine price list.
The promo applies to both the top-spec Santa Fe 2.2 CRDi GLS 8AT 2WD and more affordable Mid Variant, and it can be financed with a 20% downpayment with monthly payments for five years. The base Santa Fe carries a P2,158,000 price tag while the top-of-the-line version goes for P2,538,000. Interested buyers have until July 31 to avail of this deal.
Again, while it’s enticing to see a free crossover being thrown in by a dealership, you’re going to want to think long and hard about this. Five years is a long time to be paying for a car, and the Santa Fe isn’t exactly cheap.
