Three Ford vehicles have bagged various awards at this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas, after a successful showing by the American car manufacturer during the aftermarket expo. The Mustang, the Focus and the F-Series went home with the Hottest Car, Hottest Sports Compact and Hottest Truck trophies, respectively.

The results came in after SEMA judges took to the floor and tallied each and every new car and truck display at the event. The three Ford rides were featured in displays more than any other vehicles in their respective segments.

This marks the first time that an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) has won three awards at a single SEMA event. The wins are great news for Ford as they indicate the brand's popularity in the US aftermarket scene.

Ford Performance director Dave Pericak said that the company was proud to know of their customers' enthusiasm for modding their Ford vehicles. "Winning SEMA's Hottest Vehicle awards for the Mustang, the Focus and the F-Series is great affirmation of the popularity of Ford vehicles with this trendsetting part of the market," the executive said after accepting all three awards on Ford's behalf. "We're proud that the aftermarket has embraced these three vehicles with as much enthusiasm as our customers invest to personalize their Mustang, Focus and F-Series."
