In August 2020, Nissan Philippines (NPI) was one of the first car brands to begin focusing on online sales by opening its own virtual showroom. If you haven’t yet, you should check it out as it’s the safest and most convenient way to check out the manufacturer’s offerings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
That the carmaker knows the value of having an online sales presence doesn’t mean it doesn’t see a future in physical dealerships, though. In fact, the company has just opened a new showroom in Caloocan.
Opened in partnership with 2020 Nissan Dealer of the Year AutoSpeedygo, Nissan Caloocan is the Japanese brand’s 48th dealership in the country. The 6,000 square meter facility features six car displays and four service bays, and is expected to further strengthen the company’s presence in the local market.
“Nissan remains committed to providing innovative products and the best end-to-end services to the Filipino people,” NPI president Atsushi Najima said in a statement.
“As our dealership network expands, we are able to reach more customers in the country to provide them our innovative products, top-notch services, and excellent customer experience,” he added.
Safe to say there’ll always be a place for physical dealerships in the local auto industry, then? Do you have plans on checking this facility out once the ongoing COVID-19 surge is under control? Let us know in the comments.
