Motor Image Pilipinas, Subaru’s official distributor in the Philippines, is making car buying easier for its clients with the new Subaru SPEED, or the Shopping Platform from Electronic Enquiry up to Delivery.
Subaru SPEED is an online one-stop-shop that lets customers go through the car-buying process from the comforts of their own homes. Customers can browse the Subaru catalog by downloading brochures and conversing with sales consultants from preferred dealerships.
Detailed pricing information including the latest sales promos, accessories, and aftersales and maintenance packages will also be provided. Afterwards, customers can move on to Subaru’s ‘At-Home Test Drive.’ Through this, Subaru will deliver a prospective car buyer’s vehicle of choice direct to his or her home. This is an initiative Subaru launched a couple of months back in light of the COVID-19 crisis.
If an at-home test drive doesn’t work, customers can still try out Subaru’s vehicles through its new virtual test drive, another initiative the brand rolled out just recently. This virtual test drive allows customers to experience Subaru’s EyeSight safety and driver-assist tech and see them in action from behind the wheel.
Once a customer has decided on a new Subie and is ready for the actual purchase, sales consultants will provide assistance and will process requirements or loan applications through contactless methods. Then, upon completion, the customer can also opt to have their brand-new Subaru delivered right to their doorstep to avoid having to travel to the dealership, thus reducing any contact.
Systems like these are really starting to become the norm for the automotive industry. What do you think of these latest changes from Subaru? Do you reckon this is something that will make the car-buying process easier during this pandemic?
