We reckon there’s a lot of you out there who had to hold back on your planned car purchases due to the COVID-19 outbreak. You’re probably sitting on your hands right now, waiting until the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) is lifted so you can finally buy that new car.
We still don’t know yet whether or not the ECQ will be extended yet again, so only time will tell if those car purchases will have to wait a bit longer. That said, if the new car you’re eyeing is a Suzuki—the carmaker did just launch the S-Presso and the XL7, after all—then you’re in luck because the carmaker has just rolled out its new online auto-loan application scheme.
With this feature, you can now apply for auto loans through Suzuki Philippines’ official website and choose from any of the carmaker’s partner banks. You will only need to accomplish the respective forms and your bank of choice will be able to review—and if possible, approve—your application. It’s a pretty straightforward procedure, but one that’ll surely help car buyers in times like these.
Here is the official statement from Suzuki: “The decision to launch the online Auto Loan service with the help of dependable financial institutions is rooted from the realization that during this time of uncertainty, consumers are longing for a sense of security and reliability, more than just the product itself. SPH believes that their vehicles across different segments may provide this longing by staying committed to championing the Suzuki Way of Life to the Filipino people and relentlessly finding solutions especially when people are now, more than ever, highly concerned about where to tunnel their investments that will prove to be beneficiary to them even after these challenging times.”
There you have it—if you feel like you’ve been waiting too long for that car purchase already, then this might be your chance. Likewise, if you’re located outside of ECQ zones, then Suzuki dealerships may already be open in your area. You can check out the list of operational showrooms below.
